So you have saved yourself a wad of cash by a combination of iPhone SIM Only deals, selling off your unwanted clothes at a car boot sale and generally scrimping and saving? If you had a hefty little nest egg just crying out to be spent, what would you decide to spend it on?
For some it would have to be the holiday of a lifetime to some exotic and far off destination such as South America or the Far East, no expenses spared with business class flights, top hotels and luxuries such as helicopter transfers and designer shopping.
For others it would have to be something far more sensible such as putting it towards your kid's university fees – even though he is only eight years old – or sticking it in your retirement pot.
Others would plump for a new car, one that would really turn heads and would make the owner feel twenty years old again. A flash sports car or a new four by four - one beyond your wildest dreams. Or how about a shiny new motorbike, one that will take you back to your youth?
You could spend this nest egg so many times over in your dreams, but sadly that is probably where it will have to remain unless you win the pools in real life.
