The FML website is a website of humorous stories written with the tagline “f... my life”. It is one of the more imaginative websites out there and there are many people that are able to get a good laugh on a daily basis through reading the anecdotes that come out of that website. Well, if you are an iPhone user, you can now get those anecdotes delivered right to your mobile device through the use of iFML, a new iPhone software application Read stories about people with the FML tagline at the end of each one
The idea behind this is an accounting of all of the crazy and stupid things that happen to people in order to get them to think that their life sucks but they really don’t care. Examples include a girl that goes to a boyfriend’s house to see him hooking up with her sister and someone receiving their birth certificate only to find out that their parents were incorrectly celebrating their birthday for nearly two decades. These are stories that would make you think of the FML slogan if they happened to you and that is why they are on the FML website. With your iPhone device, you can now read about them on your mobile device.
Submit your own FMLs and then vote on the ones that you like
The best part about the iFML app for the iPhone is that you can actually create your own community with other iPhone users where people actually go ahead and submit their own FML stories in order to see what the end result could be. If something happens to you that you think warrants the creation of an FML, go ahead and create that on your own before sending it in for consideration from the rest of the community. Then, you can read through all of the others as they get sent in and rate each one according to how good you think it is.
Final iFML Score
The iFML iPhone app does not really have a practical use, but it is definitely a great way for you to blow off some steam. It is therefore purely for entertainment purposes and we find that it accomplishes that particular task quite well. For that reason, we’ve decided to give the iFML app for the Apple iPhone a final score of 8.5 out of 10.
